History of Shaheed Diwas
In 1948, the history of Shaheed Diwas originated when Nathuram Godse assassinated Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Gandhi’s assassination resulted in a profound loss for the nation, leading to the establishment of Martyrs’ Day as a tribute to this great leader.
