JPSC Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the JPSC Exam allows applicants in the age range of 20 to 35 years. This examination plays a crucial role in selecting capable candidates for diverse administrative roles. JPSC Eligibility Criteria are provided in conjunction with the official notice issued by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. Prior to applying for the examinations, candidates must ensure they satisfy the stipulated JPSC Civil Services age limit for the year 2023, in addition to any other specified eligibility conditions. Eligible candidates who meet these criteria and submit their application fee by the specified deadline will receive their admit cards.

JPSC Age Limit

Candidates must confirm that they are eligible to take the JPSC Civil Services Exam before applying for the position of JPSC Civil Services. The minimum and maximum age requirements to apply for the civil services examination are 21 and 35, respectively. However, candidates who fall under the reserved categories are granted considerable leeway. Reserved category candidates will be given age reductions in accordance with government regulations.

  • Ex-servicemen who have worked for the Jharkhand state government for at least three years will receive a five-year age reduction.
  • For age relaxation, only Jharkhand locals would be taken into consideration.
  • The age relaxation does not apply to men or women who have more than one spouse.
  • All certificates requested by the board must be dated prior to the candidate’s interview.

JPSC Education Qualification

To be eligible to apply for Civil Services positions, each candidate must meet the applicable JPSC Civil Service Eligibility requirements, which include the necessary educational requirements. The necessary educational requirements are detailed below:

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent degree.
  • Students in their final year are not eligible unless they pass their exam before the deadline for application submission.
