On February 12, 2023, the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission conducted the CGPSC SSE Prelims Exam on a Sunday. It’s important to note that the CGPSC SSE Prelims Exam serves as a qualifying stage for the subsequent Mains exam, and the scores obtained in the Prelims do not contribute to the final merit list. Given the high competition in the SSE, candidates must perform well in the CGPSC Prelims Exam to advance to the Mains stage. The CGPSC Preliminary Examinations were conducted on February 12, 2023. CGPSC Prelims 2023

There are two papers in the CGPSC SSE Prelims Exam: General Studies-1 and General Studies-2 (Aptitude Test). Each of the two papers in the CGPSC Prelims Question Paper carried 400 marks. Multiple-choice questions of the objective kind were included in both question papers. Each question included five possible options for the candidate, from which one correct option need to be selected by the candidate. Negative points were awarded for incorrect answers.
