MPPSC Eligibility Criteria

MPPSC Eligibility Criteria 2023: On December 30, 2022, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) published the announcement for the State Service Examination 2022. The MPPSC State Service Preliminary Exam 2022 will be held on May 21, 2023, per the MPPSC Notification 2023 published by the commission. On January 10, 2023, online applications for the exam will also open.

The State Service Examination and the State Forest Service Examination will both have a joint preliminary exam. The Forest Service Exam is open to applicants who also submitted for the State Service Exam. Moreover, a separate announcement for the Forest Service Examination has been made.

The MPPSC outlines the requirements for applicants to the MPPSC 2021 exam. This section provides a detailed explanation of the MPPSC age restriction, eligibility requirements, and domicile requirements. On the basis of the eligibility requirements for 2020–21, it will assist candidates in understanding their ability to appear for the MPPSC examination in 2021. MPPSC Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
  • Male candidates who have more than one living wife are ineligible for the exam.
  • Female candidates with more than one living husband are not eligible for the exam.
  • Applicants who request age relaxation or reservation for the MPPSC Exam under more than one category are only eligible for one concession, whichever is more advantageous.
  • Applicants who have been found guilty in a court of a crime against a woman are ineligible for the Exam. The applicants who are awaiting the court’s decision in the aforementioned situations may still take the examination, but they won’t be posted until the decision is made and they are found not guilty.

MPPSC Age Limit 2023

Candidates who wish to sit for the MPPSC examination need to meet the MPPSC qualifying requirements which have been mentioned on the official website for being eligible for various posts under MPPSC Examination. The candidates who could not fulfil the mentioned requirements will be restricted from sitting for the MPPSC examination For non-uniformed posts and uniformed posts, the MPPSC sets different age restrictions, which are listed below.

MPPSC Education Qualification Criteria

  • The minimum requirement for candidates is a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or an equivalent degree.
  • Applicants with Professional and Technical credentials that the State Government has determined to be equivalent to a Professional or Technical degree.
  • Such candidates will be eligible for admission to the test if they possess professional or technical credentials equivalent to technical degrees approved by the State Government.
  • Candidates that have sociology as a graduation subject will be given precedence for the positions of district/area convenor and tribal welfare department. Preferred indicates that, in the case of candidates with equal grades, the ultimate decision will be made based on the candidate’s alphabetical order of undergraduate Sociology subjects taken.
