UPSC CSE 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024. This year’s list of successful candidates continues to reflect a strong presence of female achievers among the top ranks.
Muslim Representation in UPSC CSE 2024
Among the 1,009 candidates recommended for various prestigious services, including the IAS, IPS, and IFS, 26 are Muslim. While none have secured a spot in the Top 25, notable performances include Iram Choudhary, who achieved Rank 40, and Farkhanda Qureshi, who secured Rank 67.
Category-Wise Selection Breakdown
The selected candidates represent a wide range of social categories:
- General: 335 candidates
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 109 candidates
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 318 candidates
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 160 candidates
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 87 candidates
In addition, 45 candidates with benchmark disabilities have been successfully recommended.
