The fifth edition of the Vietnam-India Bilateral Army Exercise, known as VINBAX 2024, commenced today in Ambala, Haryana. This exercise is aimed at strengthening the joint military capabilities and cooperation between India and Vietnam.
Key Highlights
For the first time, VINBAX-2024 includes Bi-Service participation, involving both the Army and Air Force from each country, marking a significant expansion in the scope of this bilateral exercise. India’s contingent comprises 47 personnel, primarily from a Regiment of the Corps of Engineers, along with members from other arms and services.
Duration
The exercise is scheduled to continue until November 23, 2024, offering a platform for both nations to enhance interoperability, share strategic insights, and further deepen their defense partnership.
