Cracking mains exam of RJS or exam of any state judicial services is not that tough, since our school time we have been confronting subjective question paper then why we have fear for RJS mains answer writing? Most of the students buy RJS Mock Test Series, RJS test Series, RJS mock test papers to clear the RJS Exam which is good but along with it you need to keep in mind that your answer presentation should be unique, because if you write same what everybody is writing then you will get only that much number what examiner is giving to everyone, therefore if you need extra number then you have to be unique in your answers.

HOW TO BE UNIQUE IN ANSWER WRITING

Before start writing answer first it is important to understand what has been asked in the question, so kindly read question twice, so that you could write what exactly has been asked.

Mentioning exact section number and quoting relevant case law gives you additional number or at least save your number, if you recite the citation of the case then definitely that will be icing on the cake. But keep in mind that if you not remember case name or citation then do not mention wrong case name or its citation.

Common students’ issue is regarding the word limit means how much to write for particular marks, see, if question comes of 2 or 3 marks then they will ask such question which in itself contains a limited content.

If question ask distinction between any two or three points, then kindly do not mention simple section number or write definition rather mention the concept along with definition and section along with illustration in it. Such approach will give you full marks  

If question ask any theoretical point for 6 Marks or above then please remember do not write only bare act language rather properly explain the concept also along with section number and relevant judgement. If possible, mentioned all the linked provisions of same statute or different statute.

If applied question comes then first find out what is the point which need to decide in the question and that point mention in starting of the answer for eg- whether mixing of sugar powder in milk with a thought of mixing poison will amounts to attempt to murder or not according to the given facts of the question,

• Once you have framed issues as I illustrate above mention the law point for eg-section 307 talks about the attempt to murder and attempt is a stage after preparation ends and a step before the actual offence commits. So, this is how you have to explain the law point.
• After law point explained put the facts of the case into the law point and conclude your answer accordingly

Mention section number and case name along with its citation

If judgement passed by 3 judges or above bench then mention number of bench of judges and Judge name who passed the judgement

Try to mention all linked provision

Write answer to the point and not evasive Focus on explaining concept and law point clearly.
